This Privacy Statement outlines the data\u00a0 handling practices of the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences (IUAES), World Anthropological Union (WAU), and World Council of Anthropological Associations (WCAA) regarding the World Anthropology Congress.<\/p>

Emails and Personal Information:<\/strong><\/p>

– The IUAES, WAU, and WCAA will retain the email addresses of participants, whether accepted or not, and other information provided in relation to panel or paper submissions for the purpose of communication and organization of the World Anthropology Congress.<\/p>

Recording of Congress Activities:<\/strong><\/p>

– The World Anthropology Congress is a hybrid event, and as such, sessions, panels, and papers may be recorded for archival, educational, and promotional purposes.<\/p>

Use of Videorecordings:<\/strong><\/p>

– Participants acknowledge that the IUAES, WAU, and WCAA may use videorecordings of their presentations, panels, or any other form of participation during the congress.<\/p>

– Participants agree to share their contributions (papers, videos, or any other form of participation) under a Creative Commons License Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-SA 4.0).<\/p>

Additional Rights and Sharing Agreement:<\/strong><\/p>

– If a paper or panel is accepted, the individuals who submitted the content will be required to sign an additional statement regarding the sharing of their rights. This agreement will specify the terms under which their contributions may be used, shared, and attributed.<\/p>
