Liminality of walking in rituals children partecipation.

Albanian calendric rituals are spared during all year but are more frequent during summer season. An important role is dedicated to kids walking from one part to another and in dedicated locations of the city or village as a symbol of rite making. Kids play a symbolic and also social rore in these celebration. By walking in different rituales they also sing, dance, make music by shaking things etc. This paper will try to analyze the presence of children, both boys and girls, in calendric ritual of South East Albania, like Summer Day, Llazore, Rustica, Arapët e Polenës gathered through field work. Also analyzing the liminal moment of walking that is associated by ritual phases based on Gennep and Turner theory of liminality but also Grimes and Bell.
