Abstract:
This paper presents an analyzes of the partnership between the organizations Themis Gênero, Justiça e Direitos Humanos (Brazil) and Associação Cabo-Verdiana de Luta Contra Violência Baseada no Gênero (Cape Verde) in the context of the development of the project "Fla Sim pa Mudjer: mulheres unidas prevenindo a violência de gênero em Cabo Verde”. The critical analysis of the challenges faced by the transnational partnership on the translation of theories and categories and the way in which it was solved by the teams demonstrates the relevance of the research to the anthropological sciences. Thus, we will address some dimensions of this transnational partnership, specifically regarding the feminist pedagogies involved in the interactions and negotiations for its realization. The research focused on the period from October 2022 to May 2023, based on fieldwork, documentary analysis and bibliographic research. This action research was guided by a knowledge policy based on the situated perspective (Haraway, 1995) and on anti-colonialist and anti-racist approaches to feminist practices (Mohanty, 2008; Oyewùmí, 2021). Through action research, we identified the bases of feminist pedagogy (bell hooks, 1994) employed in the construction of the common agenda around the prevention of gender violence.
