Start with the initial phase of establishment and development, this paper will delve into the deepening process of the anthropological discipline system in China, and analyze the significance of the development of second-level (sub-major) disciplines, the establishment of fundamental anthropology courses in universities, and interdisciplinary collaborative research, taking into account the local context. The inward-looking and one-way development model of anthropology in China has led to shortcomings in its establishment, development, and even teaching, which has limited its unique role in the field of social sciences. However, due to its inward-biased development with local characteristics, it has also accumulated the basic conditions for establishing the discipline. We should build upon this foundation and cultivate outward-oriented attributes to further improve the construction of anthropology in China. Chinese students have far fewer opportunities to engage with in-depth anthropological content. Anthropology plays a crucial role in liberal education in American universities, with courses aimed at cultivating students' ability to view the world from diverse cultural perspectives, laying the foundation for global awareness. This article will discuss the challenges and solutions facing the development of anthropology in China's current academic system. Meanwhile, interdisciplinary cooperation is one of the important driving forces for promoting the construction of anthropology disciplines in China. By breaking down disciplinary barriers, the cross-integration of different fields broadens the horizons of academic research and adapts to new trends in discipline development. This article will use the poetry of Amani as an example to point out the important position of interdisciplinary research in practice.
