This research paper explores the sources of healthcare among the Tharu community residing in the Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh, India. The Tharu community, an indigenous group known for their distinct culture and traditional way of life, frequently encounters obstacles when trying to obtain medical care. These challenges include limited access to healthcare facilities, a shortage of healthcare professionals, and language barriers. The primary objective of this study is to identify and analyze the diverse healthcare sources available to the Tharu community. By examining traditional healing practices, government healthcare facilities, and other healthcare providers, we aim to gain a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare background for this community. Our analysis will provide insights into the strengths and weaknesses of each healthcare source, as well as their accessibility and effectiveness. Ultimately, this study will help to inform policymakers and healthcare providers on how to better serve the Tharu community's healthcare needs. By understanding these sources, policymakers and healthcare providers can develop targeted interventions to improve healthcare access and outcomes for the Tharu population.
